About Andrew
DR. ANDREW FLESER, pianist and teacher, has performed as a soloist and accompanist throughout the United States and Europe. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he is an avid vocal coach and theatrical music director, and has worked with many theaters and organizations in the Twin Cities, including Minnesota Orchestra, Children’s Theatre Company, History Theatre, Park Square Theatre, Skylark Opera, and Hamline University. His performances can be heard on Minnesota Public Radio, A Prairie Home Companion, and Cantus’s albums A Harvest Home and Manifesto.
Andrew has served on the faculties of the University of Minnesota, Hamline University (St. Paul, MN), McNally Smith College of Music (St. Paul) and Grand Valley State University (Allendale, MI). He has taught master classes at Idaho State University, Aquinas College (Grand Rapids, MI), and University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point.
Dr. Fleser received the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Collaborative Piano at the University of Minnesota, the Master of Music in Piano Accompanying and Coaching from Westminster Choir College of Rider University (Lawrenceville, NJ), and the Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Aquinas College.
